Bönigen
The Beautiful and peaceful village of Bönigen is located on the Western Shores of the Brienzersee, (lake of Brienz). A Located less than 5km from the center of Interlaken, Bönigen is an idea 'traditional village' to visit. you can take a 45 minute stroll along the Aare river, or take one of the many post busses that service Bönigen. There are still many traditional farms, whee one can buy fresh milk, cheese or Meat. Bönigen features lakeside hotels with wonderful views of lake and mountains.

Village Musem
Opposite the «Bären», is housed the village museum of Bönigen, featuring an interesting yet simple concept; you can map out your own tour of the various rooms dating from 1800 to 1880.
The main part of the museum is devoted to temporary exhibitions, allowing local artists to exhibit and sell their work.
